Omerful of Manna

"This is what the LORD has commanded, 'Let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread that I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.'"

In Northern Ireland and Loving It!!

Hi Friends and Family!

I am currently in Portstewart, Northern Ireland staying in the fellowship hall of a Presbyterian church. After two weeks in a hay field just outside of Chicago and a wild couple days of traveling and settling down, I am finally able to check in online! Our days here consist mostly of hanging out with the many young men and boys that have built relationships with the Royal Servant students and leaders over the years. Much of it started with boys throwing snails at the windows of the church about six years ago and then mooning everyone when they pulled back the shades! That was followed by an invite to The Prom as it is called where they were bought ice cream! Since then there have been years with as many as 25 boys becoming Christians between 8 and 18 years old!

Please pray for my girls...Elise, Keljo, Bethany and Laura! Ask God to deepen their relationship with Him

Pray for God to capture the hearts of the Irish people we meet here as we build relationships

Pray for wisdom on the part of our leaders as they make decisions about the stuff in London and how that effects out trip home.

Finally, pray that Jamie, Richard and Adam, boys a friend and I spoke with last night are comforted by God in the loss of their brothers. One has lost two and one in the last few weeks!

Love you all! Miss you!

Something like that happened. They don't really help us, but they do hang out with us and brought other boys to hang out with us that became Christians over the years.
